In 2024, GEN-H developed a hybrid energy concept in Kemi, Finland, combining solar photovoltaic generation with the use of medium-depth geothermal wells to optimise energy performance and efficiency.

The project focuses on the integration of a solar panel field with geothermal solutions, enabling a more stable and efficient energy system adapted to local climatic conditions. The combination of these technologies allows for improved energy management, balancing production and consumption throughout the year.
A key aspect of the project is its practical application, including the use of the system by end users, demonstrating its operational viability in real conditions. This approach provides valuable insights into system performance and supports future scalability.
By integrating solar and geothermal energy, GEN-H continues to explore hybrid solutions that enhance efficiency and contribute to the development of more resilient and sustainable energy systems.
